CHICAGOMay 3, 2022 – With demand for digital marketing services growing unabated among its client base of law firms and legal technology providers, Baretz+Brunelle has added a new chief digital officer, Josh Anisfeld, to lead its growing digital team. Anisfeld joins Baretz+Brunelle from Heidrick & Struggles (NASDAQ: HSII), the international executive search firm, where he was the head of digital marketing and the originator of its digital marketing function.

“Baretz+Brunelle was early to recognize the importance of digital marketing to legal service providers, and we are continuing to invest in our leadership position with Josh, who brings more than 15 years of experience in digital communications,” said Spencer Baretz, co-founder of Baretz+Brunelle. “Josh understands not only how to introduce professional services firms to the power of digital marketing, but also how to take forward-thinking clients with active digital marketing efforts to another level.”

Anisfeld has spent his career harnessing the power of digital marketing for top global brands and leading professional services providers. As chief digital officer at Baretz+Brunelle, he will oversee its digital marketing services, working with law firms and other clients to develop digital marketing campaigns that directly support their business goals.

At Heidrick & Struggles, he developed a digital marketing function within the global marketing team, which generated a significant return on investment and included a suite of services from email marketing to social media to podcasts and beyond. His earlier experience includes work with top global brands at Edelman Digital, Critical Mass and other agencies. At every stage of his career, he has concentrated on digital initiatives that advance well-defined goals, focus on the user and lead to measurable results.

“This is an exciting step for me at an exciting time for digital marketing in the legal industry,” said Anisfeld. “Thanks in part to B+B’s efforts, digital marketing is now recognized as a necessity rather than a luxury for legal services providers. I am eager to satisfy the intense demand for digital marketing and add to B+B’s growing array of advisory services for clients in the new legal economy.”

Anisfeld will lead Baretz+Brunelle’s existing digital team, which is based in the firm’s Chicago office.
