Daniel Gilfarb, a widely respected advisor known for helping Am Law 50 firms acquire individual partners and entire practice groups, has joined Baretz+Brunelle as a senior managing director in our rapidly expanding Talent practice.
A graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, Gilfarb brings more than 15 years of experience to B+B, advising law firm chairs, managing partners, and practice leaders across Am Law 50 firms on lateral partner hiring, strategic growth, and competitive talent positioning. He has facilitated high-impact partner and partner group moves across key U.S. markets, aligning talent decisions with long-term business strategies.
Working collaboratively with executive leadership at Am Law 50 law firms, Gilfarb has successfully architected and executed talent-related strategic growth mandates for partners and teams across corporate M&A, private equity, fund formation, capital markets, civil litigation, IP and patent litigation, structured finance and securitization, and labor and employment, accelerating law firm growth and client service strategies with deep market insights and results.
“This is a transformational addition to our Talent practice,” said Howard Rosenberg, head of Talent services at B+B. “Daniel’s credibility with firm leadership of elite Am Law 100 firms and deep understanding of the lateral partner market reinforce what distinguishes B+B: a rigorously intelligence-driven approach to talent that prioritizes strategic fit, performance, and long-term value over transactional recruiting.”
At B+B, Gilfarb will serve as a senior hands-on advisor to firm leadership, connecting law firms with candidates identified through B+B’s proprietary intelligence, analytics, and market-mapping capabilities, with a focus on partner-level and strategically critical hires.
B+B’s Talent practice has gained significant momentum as law firms face unprecedented competition for high-performing partners and leaders. The firm’s approach has been recognized with a Legalweek Leaders in Tech Law Award for Innovation in Hiring, Staffing, and Recruiting, and B+B is currently engaged in multiple exclusive talent mandates for Am Law 25 firms in the U.S. and London. B+B has recently also promoted Jenna Robnett to director, reflecting continued investment in the practice.
“Law firms are rethinking how they assess and acquire talent in an increasingly high-stakes and rapidly evolving market,” said Gilfarb. “B+B recognized early that traditional recruiting models were insufficient for the complexity of today’s legal economy. I’m excited to join a firm that has built a smarter, more strategic solution—and to help lead our clients in executing talent decisions that truly move the needle.”
